My Dad and I have used cover crop in the past. The one we used was yellow clover. We would let it get up about 3-4 feet and then disc plow it under and did we ever get residual weed control from that experience. Wish we could have did it more often.
I tried some yellow clover last year and I believe I didn't do it right. I should have left it till the following year to disc down.
I would like to try radishes this year, I heard they are like a vertical plow. I am excited to read more on the radishes.
I would like hear your experiences with cover crops be it good or bad. We learn by sharing our experiences. I know a cover crop can do wonderful things.
